BIRTHING INTO BEING
A desert retreat into the silence of being
March 30th - April 13th, 2026 in Morocco
The Call of the Desert
This healing journey invites you to a place within you that might be deeply familiar to you in essence and yet perhaps tends to gets lost in everyday life: your inner home, your being, the silence within you.
On the Sahara retreat in Morocco, something new is about to be born — perhaps it is even you. From listening, feeling, not knowing, exploring the present. Into the very core of being.
The essence of the desert – ancient, clear, boundless – serves as a mirror for your essence and gives you a warm, secure, and powerful support. A place where everything superficial falls away. A space where you can encounter your true nature.
Where the cosmos and the Earth meet. In the womb of the great mother, our Earth.
We immerse ourselves in the silence, vastness, and pristine nature of the desert. Feeling our bodies, observing our breathing, and what is present now leads us deeper into the moment.
For 13 days, we will travel in a group of women in mindful, authentic togetherness, where there will be time for community as well as space for yourself.
We are cared for and supported by a loving team of local desert nomads.

“The desert takes away what you are not and reveals what you always were.”
The itinerary
Total duration: 13 days
Location: Moroccan Sahara
Date: March 30–April 11, 2026
We will meet in Marrakesh on March 30, spend a night in a riad (a beautiful traditional inn in the middle of the old town), and the next day take a 10-hour private bus ride through the Atlas Mountains and desert landscapes to M'Hamid El Ghizlane, one of the oldest desert villages.
After spending a night in the desert village of M'Hamid, we will ride camels to the camp, where we will spend several days and nights in small mud houses, lovingly cared for and fed by a group of desert nomads, and together immerse ourselves in being, silence, and our creative power.
We spend two days with the camels in the middle of the desert, sleeping under the starry sky, cooking on the fire, and experiencing the great desert as an ally and loving mother.
From there, we return to the desert camp for two more nights,
where we continue to explore the silence and the expression of being that is born from it. We end the trip in the desert village with a visit to the kasbah, the old, original village.
We then make our way back to Marrakesh,
where we depart on April 11.
Overview:
Day 1–2: Arrival in Marrakesh, first meeting,
overnight stay & start of the trip together
Day 3: Hike into the desert with camels and arrival at the camp
Day 4–6: Time in the desert camp (silence, meditation, being in a circle,
alone time and community)
Day 6–8: Excursion with the camels
Day 8–9: Time in the desert camp
Day 10–11: Return to M'Hamid, visit to the Kasbah (old town), conclusion
Day 12: Departure to Marrakesh

... are ready to be there with everything - in love and presence.
...want to receive and embody their truth.
... want to bring something new into the world.
We accompany you
We are Lisa and Katharina, and we are connected by a deep, nurturing friendship and a shared passion for exploring the present moment. We both carry the nomadic spirit within us, accompany people in healing spaces, connect with the source, bring experience from women's circles, and are anchored in the quality of Mary Magdalene.

background
I - Lisa - visited the Sahara for the first time during the pandemic in 2021, staying in M'Hamid for over 6 weeks and living with the desert nomads in the village, in the hostel of Habib, whom a good friend had met a few years earlier on her own trip to Morocco.
Even as a child, I dreamed of traveling to the Sahara and later bought desert shoes for the day it would happen.
The desert captivated me. Its purity, its pristineness, its vastness, and above all, its silence. I felt closer to God than in almost any other place. My clairvoyant senses became more refined, and telepathic communication became increasingly natural to me.
The essence of the desert became a confidant, a friend, and a mother. She spoke to me daily, and I to her. The desert dwellers also taught me a great deal through their way of life. Their simplicity, their silence, and their vastness resemble the landscape in which they live.
Almost every day I walked to the dunes in the desert. I merged with them. I absorbed the sun's power.
And I encountered myself and life with a clarity and depth that I had previously only experienced after long meditations.
Riding on camels' backs gave me grounding, slowness, and a clear reflection of my emotional states, which were transformed by the candor of the animal creatures.
The desert gave me a vision: that when I returned, I would bring a group of people with me and initiate them into the transformative power of the desert.
So I am happy to take those who feel the call with me on this deeply transformative journey and to give birth to us together into (One) Being.

Our desert guide
Habib
Habib grew up as a nomad with his family in the middle of the desert. Today, he lives in the desert village of M'Hamid and accompanies people from all over the world to various parts of the desert with his camels and his team. He is open-hearted, down-to-earth, and loves to host people and introduce them to his culture.
